as one of the UK and Europe's leading

Digger:
What is your background
Elliot? And can you please tell us how ES
Promotions started? And how the company has evolved into
what it is today?
Elliot:
After leaving university we ran a series of nightclubs and
fun pubs, this then evolved into booking acts and equipment.
After leaving the pubs and working part time for an events
company we set up ES promotions as an entertainment agency.
We sub-contracted in all the acts and equipment then decided
to add some consistency to the bookings by buying our own
equipment.
Digger: Can you please tell us about the vast range of
entertainment services you offer?
Elliot:
We offer in-house anything you will find at a party, or a
promotion, with a diverse product and act range of over
1000 services. Probably best to see the website
www.es-promotions.com
Digger: Where are your customers coming from and what customer
feedback/comments do you get?
Elliot:
We cover all round the UK and every imaginable industry
sector, from blue chip promotions, movie premieres to
weddings and race nights for local charities.
Digger: Why are retro and nostalgia-themed events and shows so
perennially popular with all generations?
Elliot:
We think people like to remember how things were when
everyone was less busy or in their youth?
Digger: What are the most popular events and shows and what are
the most challenging?
Elliot:
We offer over 35 different theme events and find the typical
Bond 007 / Oscar parties always popular. We seem to find the
80s and US 1950s events very popular at the moment.
Digger: Are you able to run bespoke events and shows and is there
anything people should consider when planning to use your
services?
Elliot:
Yes each event is a bespoke production taking into account
budget / venue / customer preferences and availability. We
can offer grand events costing £10,000 + to prop hire for
smaller parties.
Digger:
What are the best aspects of running the ES Promotions
business?
Elliot:
Every day is different and you get to meet a wide range or
people at events.
Digger: And what makes ES Promotions stand out?
Elliot:
We are a small company able to offer an intimate service but
with the support teams we have we can cater for huge fun
days / themed events and parties all over Europe.
Digger:
What impact has The Internet had on your business?
Elliot:
We advertise solely on The Internet now - no more brochures.
Digger:
What are your plans for ES Promotions in the future?
Elliot: We plan to develop more novel themes over the next ten years
and keep up-to-date with all the latest equipment and acts,
offering a memorable service for every event we are involved
in - perhaps looking to open a second storage site in
London.
Michael:
Thanks David. Bye.
